I have finished writing my first novella, and I am very proud of how it came out.
It's a novella that's 16 chapters plus an epilogue. The genre is undefined. It's like a mix of Fantasy/supernatural/Modern/drama with some slight religious/romantic undertones. It is also LGBT friendly.
A little description would be: When Lucy left three years ago, she never thought she'd have to return to her home town. When she found out that her grandmother was dying, she came back with the sole intention to say her goodbyes and leave again. Being in the town again brought back feelings that she though she'd gotten rid of a long time ago, but the unfinished business she had left behind refuses to die. Secrets her family had kept hidden start to come to light. After dealing with her old friends and family again, she decides it's time to take action and finish what she started years ago, but will it be worth giving up the life she has now? Or will it help her to let go and finally move on?
